Located just southeast of Dallas in Scurry, Texas, Lily was Enel North America's first hybrid plant integrating renewable energy production and battery storage. Its 421,400 photovoltaic (PV) bifacial solar panels are expected to generate over 367 GWh each year, equivalent to avoiding the emissions of over 242,000 tons into the atmosphere annually. The project comprises a 181 MWdc PV facility paired with a 55 MWdc battery. Visitors will see firsthand what the day-to-day operation of a clean power plant in ERCOT requires.
There will be one tour in the morning and one tour in the afternoon on Monday, March 24. The meeting point will be in the lower AB lobby to catch the bus.
Safety-toe shoes and long pants required.
