Abhineet Parchure is a Principal Architect, leading solutions architecture for new cloud technologies in Clean Energy at Amazon Web Services. Prior to AWS, Abhineet spent over 6 years at Dominion Energy’s DVI group where he led engineering for a Volt-VAR Optimization (VVO) software suite, and deployed grid planning, control and M&V software systems at 10+ North American utilities. Abhineet is also a PhD candidate in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech, where he has researched combined transmission & distribution system dynamics, the impacts of distributed generation, and HVDC transmission networks.
