Abrez Mondal is a Senior Technical Leader of DER Integration at EPRI. He currently leads research focused on secure integration of DERs, their control, and market participation for grid services. Prior to joining EPRI, Abrez was an engineering specialist at Eaton Research Labs in Golden, CO, USA, developing and validating technolgies in areas of DER and microgrid controls and protection. He is currently serving as the chair of the IEEE P1547.10 working group on recommended practice for DER gateway platforms.
