Brian Kirchman is the Senior Manager of Innovation and New Programs at ComEd in Illinois. He leads all customer research and development efforts, including energy efficiency, demand response, dynamic rates, and the pilot programs for ComEd’s Beneficial Electrification plan. These pilots encompass initiatives such as residential optimized charging for electric vehicles, a school bus vehicle-to-grid (V2G) program, and EV ridesharing, among others.

Brian holds a B.S. in Computer Graphics and Engineering from DePaul University, and with nearly 20 years of experience managing programs, pilots, and products in the utility space, Brian has also led four startups across commerce, DSM products, product fulfillment, and gaming. He brings a wealth of knowledge in customer experience, product development, and entrepreneurial expertise to leading ComEd’s next generation of programs across various portfolios.
