Brittani McClendon
Brittani began her career with Southern Company at Gulf Power in 2011 as a reliability engineer in Technical Services as part of the Engineer in Training Program. She then joined Georgia Power in 2014 as a distribution engineer in the Metro Atlanta and later transitioned to senior engineer. She has held a developmental role as a senior engineer with the Power Delivery Systems and Standards department where she checked large distribution jobs across the state for accuracy of the estimate, proper funding and influenced standardization and consistency. She has also worked as a engineering distribution team leader in Metro Atlanta. Prior to her current role Brittani was a Distribution Support Manager leading the support of distribution applications such as estimating tools, engineer and crew call out tools, outage management systems, and broadcast tools.
Currently Brittani is the Project Engineering Supervisor leading distribution subject
matter experts managing large projects across the state. She is also coordinating and hosting statewide efforts to manage the coordination of Transmission and Distribution projects within Georgia Power's footprint.
She earned a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering in 2011 from Auburn University and a master's degree in business administration from Columbus State University in 2016. She is a graduate of Georgia Power's Power Delivery Leadership Development program class of 2020. In the community she has been an active member of the Georgia Power charity organization Citizens of Georgia Power in Metro East and led the chapter as president between 2017 and 2019.
In her spare time Brittani loves spending time with her two boys, Carver and Tiger and planning social outings for her family and friends.
