Carson Zerpa is an Industrial & System Engineer with 20 years of experience in the smart grid space. He currently is the Senior Business Growth Manager for Grid Management at Itron. Since joining the Itron team, he has supported several utilities and helped them identify how distributed intelligence can be leveraged to accelerate their grid modernization and AMI 2.0 migration goals. He started his career as a Distribution System Engineer at Florida Power and Light and has had the opportunity to support several technology and consulting firms as a product owner and operational subject matter expert in the areas of distribution automation, distributed energy resource management, grid analytics, and distributed intelligence. Carson has a Bachelor of Science in Industrial & Systems Engineering degree from the University of Florida.
