CJ Myers is the Manager of Metering and Cable Services at Delaware Electric Cooperative where he oversees DEC’s 118,000 Advanced Meter Infrastructure System. He specializes in developing programs to utilize meter data to perform advanced system analytics such as voltage monitoring, outage detection, and transformer utilization. CJ developed and launched one of the first utility scale demand response programs relating to electric vehicles in 2018. CJ serves on the Board of Directors as Co-Vice President of Delmarva811 and is on the executive committee for Sierra Club’s Delaware chapter. Prior to joining DEC, CJ Myers was a field engineer with Shermco Industries performing maintenance and troubleshooting of medium and high voltage electrical equipment for utility and industrial customers. He has a bachelor’s degree in Energy Engineering from Penn State specializing in energy generation.
