Courtney is a registered Professional Engineer with 6 years of experience in utilities, capital planning and regulatory affairs. She focuses on guiding utilities and energy organizations through complex regulatory proceedings while maintaining alignment with strategic objectives. Her work to date has focused on completing regulatory jurisdictional scans both in Canada and the U.S., policy and legislation assessments focusing on Atlantic Canada, and studies of electricity rates in North America including EV charging rates, and transmission and distribution rates and tariffs. She has led the filing and approval of annual capital budgets and has authored technical reports for innovative projects including LED streetlights and electric vehicle fast chargers.
