Elton Prifti is a well-versed leader with over 20+ years of experience in the utility industry. He is currently the Director of Engineering for the Distribution Planning & Asset Management department. In his role he has responsibility of the Distribution Planning and Asset Management, Integrated Planning, Innovative Grid Solutions. 

Elton earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University in 2006 and a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University in 2008. He is a Registered Professional Engineer in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. 

Since 2021 Elton serves as a Commissioner of the Wakefield Municipal Gas & Light Department, a publicly elected position.
