Eric Schoenman is a Principal Grid Asset Performance Engineering in the PG&E Asset Health and Performance Center where he has been focused on piloting and implementing new technology to reduce wildfire ignition risk and improve reliability. He has been a part of the evolution of AMI and grid sensors for the past 29 years working at both technology startups and utilities. Though his extensive experience with grid modernization and AMI, he is using the combination of grid sensors, AMI, and ML analysis tools to implement an advanced preventative detection grid-monitoring platform.
