Farid Katiraei, P.Eng, Ph.D. is CTO of Innoversa Mobile Solutions – an innovative company with focus on modular and relocatable energy storage solutions as clean replacement and/or pairing alternatives for minimizing use of fossil-fuel based generators. Prior to Innoversa, Farid was the Vice President of Advanced Technology Integration business area for Quanta Technology. He has more than 22 years of professional experience in the areas of Energy Storage, Microgrids, and applications of power electronics in power systems for non-wires alternatives. Farid has received his PhD from University of Toronto. He is a Senior Member of IEEE, and chair of IEEE taskforce on microgrid planning. Farid is a registered professional engineer in the provinces of Ontario, Canada.
