Gabriel Valdez is a Product Management leader with more than 20 years of experience leading the creation of high-tech products. He is currently Asset Monitoring and Communication (AMC) Solutions Product Management leader at GE Vernova. He has a strong passion for market driven innovation and leveraging technology to create products and solutions to help the energy transition. Before his role at GE Vernova, Gabriel worked at Nokia, as Head of 5G Product Solutions leading the development and market introduction of the first 5G Radio Solutions worldwide, including massive MIMO and millimeter-wave radios. Prior to Nokia, he was Head of Radio and Site Solutions Product Management at Alcatel-Lucent, responsible for the company’s 2G, 3G, and 4G radios and site solutions. Gabriel has played a pivotal role in creating hundreds of products deployed globally and used daily by millions of people.   Gabriel's career began at AT&T Bell Labs in New Jersey, initially in applied research before transitioning to product management. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Instituto Tecnológico de Monterrey (ITESM), a master's degree in electrical engineering from Cornell University and an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business.
