Geri is Head of Grid Innovation at the Alectra Green Energy and Technology Centre (GRE&T Centre), a collaboration hub that enables innovation and harnesses the power of emerging clean technology at Alectra and across the energy sector.  Geri has over 20 years of experience in the electricity industry. As an established thought leader in energy innovation, Geri has been at the forefront of Alectra's efforts in utilities transformation to the grid of future, leveraging grid modernization technologies and building unparalleled strategic partnerships and collaboration in the ecosystem. Under her leadership, the GRE&T Centre has delivered a number of first, new grid-edge solutions such as Canada's first end-to-end integrated household GHG solution, Canada's first transactive energy platform developed and piloted by a utility, and a North America first distribution-level local electricity market in partnership with IESO.
