Hugo spent over 11 years in the utility industry as a manager overseeing planning, design, construction, asset management, distribution operation and maintenance, loss control, and regulatory. More than 7 years as senior field service engineer. His expertise includes developing distribution master planning, reliability improvement, loss reduction, and re-engineering of utility processes. More than 12 years in consulting, his current focus includes integrating distributed energy resources (DERs), distribution system hosting capacity evaluation, microgrids power system studies, losses impact with DER integration, DER integration regulatory support, reliability improvement and data integrity for distribution system feeder modeling.
