Jayson Shiau currently works as a Sr Engineer with ComEd’s REACTS Team leading product development and onboarding new and existing technologies that can leverage an advanced network infrastructure. Prior to this, he was part of ComEd’s Distribution Automation group for 5 years helping to develop new advanced distribution protection scheme philosophies with the oncoming fiber infrastructure additions and lab testing new settings used in various distribution automation devices. He currently holds a B.S degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering from Northern Illinois University as well as an M.S degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin. He is also a registered Professional Engineer (P.E) in the state of Illinois.
