Jerome “Jer” Marr is the Senior IT Manager for Grid Modernization (Engineering and Planning) at Southern California Edison. He leads the teams responsible for technology selection and architecture, development, and deployment; as well as developing and maintaining their techno-functional strategic roadmaps. His teams are responsible for total product lifecycle for all E&P tools including innovation and new technologies.  They also provide operational support for the DSP/TSP planning, ICA reporting, and long-range forecasting for SCE’s corporate strategies.  Prior to that Jer has held various positions in Nuclear, Customer Service, T&D, and IT units at Southern California Edison.  Outside of SCE, he founded several successful Internet and technology startup companies.  Jer a holds a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy (USNA) and a Master in Business Administration from the University of Southern California (USC).
