Jimmy Nilsson, international cyber security executive with over 20 years of experience leading Consulting and Management services for large enterprises, is the Global Leader for Kyndryl Zero Trust Domain.

Jimmy comes to Kyndryl from Verizon, one of the world’s leading Telco and cyber security services organizations, where he was the global Cyber Defense consulting leader.

Prior, he was the leader for cyber security operations at a global joint venture between Sony and Ericsson, where he had opportunity to lead large security migrations from parent companies and establish global security operation service.

In the beginning of his career Jimmy had the opportunity to service in the Swedish Military as an Army officer, with exposure to international missions and leadership under harsh conditions.

As the global domain leader for Zero Trust Jimmy define the strategic direction across Identity & Access Management, Endpoint Security, Network Security, Workload Security, Data Security, and optimized integrated defense-in-depth architectures.

Jimmy act as an executive cyber security advisor to Kyndryl’s strategic customers and attending speaking events as a thought leader around Zero Trust. 

Jimmy have authored Kyndryl’s Zero Trust Adoption Framework. A unique framework that incorporate “softer” program dependencies like defining Vision, Goals, and Objectives, Cultural Adoption, and Program Governance, and outline repeatable methodology for how to ensure your critical IT assets remain in the center.
