Dr. Xie received the Ph.D. degree from University College Dublin, Dublin, Ireland. He is currently a Power Systems Research Engineer at PNNL. His research interests include physical security of substations, distributed control of power systems, distribution system operation, service restoration, and cyber-physical systems.
