John Budd is a Principal Engineer at Pepco Holdings, an Exelon Company.  He has 12 years of experience in T&D planning, system protection & control, distribution automation, DER engineering and technical interconnection standard development. Mostly recently his focus has been on developing and maintaining technical interconnection requirements to faciliate the interconnection of DER on the Pepco Holding's electrical distribution systems in Washington DC, Maryland, Delaware and New Jersey.
