Dr. Jouni Peppanen is with the Distribution Operations and Planning research program at EPRI, where he leads the distribution planning research area advancing the tools, methods, and practices needed to plan the modern and decarbonized distribution system. Dr. Peppanen has received Ph.D. in electrical engineering and a MS degree in operations research from Georgia Institute of Technology. Dr. Peppanen has more than 10 years of experience with power distribution. Dr. Peppanen is a Senior Member of IEEE and a member of CIGRE.
