Katelynn Vance is the Manager of ET Planning & Strategic Initiatives at Dominion Energy, located in Richmond, Virginia. With nearly a decade of experience at Dominion Energy, Katelynn has held various critical roles, showcasing her expertise in electric transmission planning, strategic initiatives, and special studies. Katelynn's academic background is rooted in electrical and electronics engineering. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Virginia and a Master of Science degree from Virginia Tech. During her time at Virginia Tech, she served as both a Graduate Research Assistant and a Graduate Teaching Assistant, contributing to research and education in power systems. Her commitment to fostering the next generation of engineers is evident through her efforts to recruit and mentor graduate interns. She actively promotes opportunities for students to gain hands-on experience in electric transmission operations, ensuring that their projects are both impactful to the business and beneficial for their professional growth.
