Dr. Larry Trussell is a Senior Principal Electrical Engineer at DNV with Synergi Electric. He is the product architect, lead programmer, and subject matter expert. He and his team have advanced the modelling, simulation, and analysis capabilities of that platform for nearly thirty years. Larry earned BSEE and MSEE degrees in power system engineering from NMSU and the Electric Utility Management Program. He earned a PhD EE in power system engineering from Virginia Tech. He worked on a distribution line crew, plant electrician crew, and in several utility distribution engineering roles.
