Lindsey Hawes
Lindsey Hawes is the Municipal Energy Program Manager at the City of San Diego's Sustainability & Mobility Department. Lindsey and her team work closely with City staff, elected officials and public stakeholders to develop and implement strategic energy projects, policies and programs designed to push the City’s municipal buildings and fleet toward the goal of zero emissions by 2035. Lindsey's background in distributed energy resource (DER) program design and implementation, classroom instruction, and project management lends a valuable skill set that allows her to lead and affect change across a wide variety of initiatives. Lindsey has a master's in environmental science and management from the Bren School at UC Santa Barbara. In her spare time, Lindsey enjoys swimming, biking, and exploring San Diego's and the world's natural and culinary treasures with her family and friends.
