Mac is a Manager of Resilience at the Smart Electric Power Alliance. He has supported SEPA’s Annual Utility Survey, Utility Transformation Challenge, and subsequent industry reports, along with additional research projects focused on utility decarbonization, grid modernization, electrification, and resilience. Mac is also one of the staff leads for SEPA’s Microgrids Working Group, which looks to identify new business models, explore regulatory and financial innovations, address gaps in standards, and define use cases that drive new system requirements to help energy industry stakeholders assess the implementation of microgrids.
