Mark Daus Energy Field Director, Dell Technologies Mark is a 30-year IT professional that began his career as a NASA engineer at the Goddard Space Flight Center. Most of Mark’s IT experience was gained working in large enterprise data centers where he became exposed to a variety of networking, computing, and application technologies throughout his career. From the data center, Mark spent several years working as a solution architect in the IT outsourcing industry where he led the design and implementation of enterprise solutions for several Fortune 500 companies. Mark joined EMC (now Dell Technologies) in 2009 as one of the first few employees involved in the preliminary plans to productize a converged and hyper-converged infrastructure solutions. Since then, he has worked exclusively within the energy industry, primarily developing and productizing infrastructure technology solutions to address the challenges facing energy companies. Many of these solutions have been adopted into the mainstream to facilitate grid modernization initiatives to support the energy transition.
