eghan serves as a Vice President at Burns & McDonnell, where she works with electric utilities to prepare the grid for some of the biggest challenges in its existence - aging distribution infrastructure, major regulatory changes, proliferation of distributed energy resources, and demands for increased reliability and resiliency. She specializes in smart grid communications and standards, utility telecommunications, and interfaces between new and legacy systems. She is experienced at working with a variety of utility stakeholders to solve problems and create intelligent, efficient systems. During her tenure at Burns & McDonnell, Meghan has helped to build two of the fastest growing, innovative business lines in the company. She attributes the success of these teams to diverse teams, intentional mentoring, and employee advocacy.
