Mr. Vialpando has more than 30 years of utility engineering and management experience including planning, design, project management, and operations of electric and gas systems. He is currently serving as Manager of Advanced Metering Infrastructure Services for the City of Longmont, Colorado. He served 8 years as Senior Project Engineer for Colorado Springs Utilities electric substations design and protection and control systems. He also worked for 12 years at Xcel Energy as System Protection and Control Engineer. Mr. Vialpando served on the Board of Directors for the Municipal Energy Agency of Nebraska. He has also served as a board member for the Colorado Association of Municipal Utilities. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from Colorado Technical University.
