Paul Found is a Distribution Specialist Engineer in BC Hydro with over 20 years of experience in different roles associated with managing distribution standards. As the Team Lead for Systems Automation & Protection group, he was responsible for smart grid equipment like reclosers, pulse closers, sectionalizers, sensors, faulted circuit indicators, underground switchgear, reactive equipment, and their associated commissioning procedures. Paul oversees the use of advanced protection technologies, sensing and monitoring deployment in BC Hydro service territories to mitigate wildfire risks.
