Prassanna currently serves as EVP & Head of Strategy and M&A for Landis+Gyr Group. Working closely with Group CEO, he is responsible for strategy formulation management and execution, including developing the corporate vision and strategy, overseeing strategic planning, and leading strategic initiatives, including M&A, transformation, risk management & strategic partnerships for the company.

Between 2015-2021, he served as EVP & CEO of Landis+Gyr Americas. In this role, he was responsible for all aspects of business within the region, including full P&L responsibilities for operations in North & South America and Japan, customer satisfaction, development, and execution of the regional growth strategy, as well as managing a broad portfolio of innovative products, solutions, and services to empower utiltiies and consumers to improve their energy efficiency, reduce their energy costs and contribute to a sustainable use of resources.

Prasanna spent more than 20 years in various management positions in the enrgy industry at Schlumberger. He also serves as the Board Chair for Advanced Energy United, a national association of business leaders who are making the global energy system more secure, clean, and affordable. He holds a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Oklahoma, Norman.
