Prasanth Gopalakrishnan is the CEO of ASE and Founder and CEO Kalkitech. ASE / Kalkitech is a technology leader in the convergence of control, communication, and computing for the utility industry. Prasanth has more than 26 years of experience in communication systems research and product development. His areas of specialization include high speed communications, standards-based protocols, and optimization technology in the energy and utility space. He was a member of the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) LITD 10, Is a member of various IEEE Working groups, Industry and various regulatory technical workings groups in California, New York and Massachusetts, and Industry bodies. Prasanth holds a bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Calicut, India, and a master’s degree in electrical engineering from Colorado State University.
