Qin Zhang received the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame, Notre Dame, IN, in 2009. She joined the Pepco Holdings in 2020, as a Senior Quantitative Engineer at Distribution Capacity Planning. She has been working on DER adoption and hosting capacity study, load forecasting, EV adoption and its load impact study. She is interested in innovation and data-driven solution to support decarbonization and energy equity. Before she joined Pepco Holdings, she was a researcher at National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Gaithersburg, MD (2009-2013, 2015-2019) and University of Pisa, Pisa, Italy (2013-2014).
