Ravindra Singh is a Senior Principal, Distribution Automation with NRECA’s Business and Technology Strategies department. He is part of NRECA’s integrated grid team, with a focus on helping electric cooperatives navigate emerging technologies and transition to modernized grid.  Ravindra has several years of experience in the areas of distribution automation, ADMS, renewable integration, DERMS, cyber-security of power systems, and microgrids. Prior to joining NRECA, he has worked with Argonne National Laboratory where he led several DOE funded projects in distribution grid related areas. Prior to that, he was with Honeywell and ABB Corporate Research Center, where he was involved in key projects such as the development of DMS training simulator, condition-based protection and control of distribution networks, domain-based cyber-security of digital substations and development of microgrid management functions.
