Rebecca Kartheiser is a Senior Distribution Automation Engineer at ComEd. Prior to her present role, she held various electric reliability-related positions within ComEd’s Grid Analytics organization. Her work focuses on leveraging data analytics to provide prudent and innovative solutions that benefit all customers, both internal and external. She is also one of the contributing authors to the ComEd Climate Risk and Adaptation Outlook, Phase 1: Temperature, Heat Index, and Average Wind, a of joint venture between ComEd and Argonne National Laboratory to evaluate future climate risks to ComEd’s infrastructure and operations. Outside of her regular duties, Rebecca serves on the steering committee of ComEd’s Pride resource group for LGBTQ+ employees and their allies. Rebecca earned her B.S. in Engineering from Purdue University in 2015 and obtained certificates in Weather Forecasting and Weather and Climate Analytics from Penn State University.
