Ryan Garoogian is a Senior Engineer for SCE's Distribution System Planning Department.  He has 14+ years of experience in planning and forecasting the electrical grid; planning to a 10-year forecast horizon for distribution feeders and substations.  He has managed various systems throughout his career both Urban and Rural as well as high growth areas and areas with high penetration of DERs.  In the last few years, Ryan has focused on special projects such as Grid Modernization Tool deployment as well as contributed as Technical Lead on Electric Vehicle Charging Planning and Strategy on the Distribution System.  Ryan currently leads the development and integration for load control management systems (LCMS) pilot and particpates on industry working group for UL3141 PCS.
