Sébastien Lussier is a software engineer who graduated from the École de Technologie Supérieure in Montreal. With over 15 years of experience at Hydro-Québec, he has made significant contributions to the development of software for electricity production planning and the modernization of the network control system. His expertise and dedication have led him to hold various technical and managerial roles within the company.

Currently, he works at Hydro-Québec’s research center (IREQ) as the manager of the Scientific Information Systems Unit, where he continues to innovate and lead strategic projects. Additionally, since last year, he has been an active member of Hydro-Québec’s Open Source Program Office (OSPO), promoting the use and development of open-source software within the institute’s research projects.
