Shakil Hossan is a seasoned Technology Manager at Eaton Research Labs with over 10 years of experience in the energy sector. He specializes in planning, modeling/simulation, and operations of distribution grids, with expertise in IVVO, Demand Response, FLISR, and Building Energy Management Systems Controls development. Shakil has led numerous government projects related to DER and EV integration, sponsored by the Department of Energy and Department of Defense. He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a Master’s degree from the University of Kentucky. Shakil is also an Associate Editor at IEEE Transactions on Sustainable Energy.
