Steve Lowe is a Sales Director with the Ericsson Utilities team focused on the delivery of Private LTE networks supporting their many use cases. He has over 30 years' experience in the combined Utility and Telecommunications Industry. In previous roles, he was responsible for leading a consultative sales team focused on Energy and Utility applications including connected devices, partner ecosystem, advanced metering infrastructure, distribution automation, distributed generation, Smart Cities and FirstNet IoT. This included successful solutions delivered in the Investor Owned, Cooperative and Municipal Utility verticals. Steve was employed by American Electric Power for over 10 years where he focused on the design and planning of electrical distribution services supporting Commercial/Industrial and residential customers. He played a role in the development of the Utility PLTE market as a member of the first combined licensed spectrum holder/radio access network solution. Steve is an active member/contributor of UBBA, DistribuTech, UTC, CTIA and other Utility associations. Steve has worked with a wide range of technology organizations during his career and brings deep strategic vision and technology-empowered innovation to his customers and partners.
