Steve has been in the telecommunications and wireless industries for over 30 years. He began his career at SAIC designing, modeling, and testing VHF and HF communications system for military and other government applications.  He later spent time designing optical switching and transport networks for large international network operators.  Steve spent the last decade in the cellular industry first working for an infrastructure company and later for a wireless module and SIM/eSIM manufacturer.  At Itron, Steve leverages his expertise in LTE, 5G and eSIM technology to help utilities as they assess the viability of migrating to private cellular networking solutions.
