Thomas is a Manager of Products and Services at Duke Energy where he is responsible for the installation, operation, and maintenance of dispatchable load control equipment in the Florida jurisdiction. He has 32 years of experience in the electric utility industry, with previous assignments in Solar Project Development, Generator Interconnections, Power Systems Operations, Nuclear Operations and Maintenance, and Substation Construction. He served for six years in the US Navy Nuclear Power Program. Thomas is a Certified System Operator with the North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) and a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) through the Association of Energy Engineers. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from the University of Florida and an MBA from the University of South Florida.
