Tim has over 30 years of experience in voice and data network communications. Tim's voice networking experience began with analog cellular services and included other technologies like TDMA, CDPD and CDMA. In the data networking space, Tim's experience started with satellite networking where he was responsible for managing an 8,000-node global VSAT network. When the company moved to terrestrial networking technologies Tim followed with increasing responsibilities for Frame Relay, ATM and MPLS technologies encompassing LAN, MAN, WAN, and Internet. Upon coming to Ameren, Tim participated in and helped establish an Event Management practice prior to moving into Enterprise Architecture and finally into his current role. Tim's focus in EA was on aligning IT with OT and DER/DERMS reference architectures to support the next generation smart grid for Ameren. Tim successfully led Ameren's pilot of their P-LTE network which demonstrated 14 utility use-cases. Currently Tim is focused on the deployment of Ameren's PLTE network across MO & IL as well as expanding the use of the P-LTE network to mobile data applications and MC-PTT.
