Wesley is a seasoned technologist and electric utility professional with 30 years of extensive experience within Southern Company working across various business units, including Information Technology, Power Delivery, Customer Services, and Metering Services. Throughout his career, he has successfully led teams and projects in systems engineering and design, work management, asset management, outage management, area planning, geographic information systems, customer information systems, advanced metering infrastructure (AMI), meter data management (MDM), and data analytics.

In his current role as Georgia Power’s AMI & MDM Network Operations Manager, Wesley is responsible for ensuring the continuous communication of 2.7 million smart-points and managing all regulated revenue billing data. He is passionate about empowering people and optimizing processes to leverage data and technology for achieving business excellence.

Wesley holds a Bachelor of Management and Information Systems from Auburn University. He is an active member of the Southern Company Metering Technology Leadership Team, serves as the Management Sponsor for the Southern Company AMI Working Group, and is the Vice-chair of EEI’s Metering Subcommittee.
