Weston joined SEPA’s content team in December 2021 and supports the association’s microgrids for resilience and DER economic valuation work. Weston also co-leads SEPA’s Energy Storage Working Group, which brings together industry participants to identify challenges and disseminate best practices related to energy storage topics from regulatory policy and business models to technologies and standards. Weston comes from a consulting background, where he supported energy assurance planning, utility DER program design and evaluation, utility emergency preparedness exercises, and energy resilience projects. He has also served in roles related to utility tracking and energy benchmarking, sustainable procurement, and demand-side management.
