I really feel like DTECH is creating the platform to expand the conversation. We need resiliency. I think that's what it's all about and that goes far beyond just transmission and distribution.

So my favorite part of DTECH has been that, as a weather startup, it’s really valuable to understand what utility companies are focused on and how we can contribute to helping utilities be better prepared for weather events.

You think you know everything about what's going on in the business. Then you come to DTECH and learn a lot more is happening.

I was able to send out meeting invites from the DTECH app. No problem. Got meetings back-to-back, 25 meetings booked, cold meetings...I've never had that happen at a conference before, and it's just very well orchestrated, very well run. You'll get a lot for your money at this conference.

The reason why it's important for us to be here at DTECH is really that a lot of our customers are here; existing customers, and a lot of prospects are here. We want to educate our peers in the industry as to what we're doing and where we see the industry growing. And we also want to learn from them.

OPPD regularly attends DTECH with both a ‘mission list’ of answers we are looking for and with an open mind for new ideas, products and services. In all aspects, Dallas 2025 didn’t disappoint. From a distribution utility standpoint, the amount of information and industry interaction available at this conference is unmatched.

What made us decide to exhibit here at DTECH is that it is a great platform to collaborate with utilities and also with electrical vendors. We have been an exhibitor for a long time and we have seen throughout the years the excitement of our customers meeting us here in person to see the durability of our product.

For me, DTECH is an extremely informative and effective mechanism to stay in touch with new electrical utility technologies, and it represents a great networking opportunity to see many utility vendors (and utility colleagues) in person and all at one location.

This is one of the most important shows for us each calendar year. It's got a very high concentration of utilities, and many of our customers come to the show each year. So it's usually in a nice place. There's a ton of traffic every year. So it's a nice, convenient place for us to show all our newest and greatest wares.
